Use of the Interactive White Board in Literary education in the First Grade of Primary School

The aim of this diploma thesis is mapping options of the use of the interactive whiteboard in the introductory part of Literature lesson called the evocation, based on formulated findings of needs and interests of the prepubescent reader summarized in the theoretical part. The practical part consists in comparison of teaching with and without the use of the interactive whiteboard, while the lesson plans are conceived in E-U-R model. The undertaken research shows that work with the interactive whiteboard in Literary lessons increase pupils'motivation to predict, makes modelling of reading literacy methods easier, improve vizualization of problematic places in the text and offers unconventional effective way of sharing pupils'ideas and artefacts. The benefit of this work is finding effective ways of the use of the interactive whiteboard in Literature lessons especially in the evocation part of lesson.
Magic in the period of Judaism of the second temple and early Christianity

Magic in the period of Judaism of the second temple and early Christianity Abstract The presented work focuses on the history of esotericism in the period of the Second Temple of Judaism and early Christianity, and shows the cultural intersections of magical and religious communities as well as individuals who have studied the art of magic. It points out the main sources of their magical and religious teachings and the origin of magic and magical thinking. It traces the main roots of both religion and magic and describes the development of magical practices in that specifical period of the time. Furthermore, after a small analysis, a comparison is made of the five basic cultures living in the territory of the "fertile crescent" just at the time of the Second Temple and their magic. There is also a detailed discussion on the field of demonology and some personalities of the time who were obviously dealing with magic. The first part describes all of the available magical disciplines and techniques that a mortal can come into contact with during the Second Temple in the region known as "Fertile Crescent". Education of pupils of primary school how not to be consumers

The theoretical part of the presented diploma thesis aims to suggest a way to encourage non- consumer way of life in today's pupils at lower level in primary school (first school). Promotion of non-consumerism is based on the aims and principles stated in current Czech official curricular documents. The issues connected to consumerism, its formation and consequences are explained. Furthermore, general ways to avoid consumer way of life are suggested. A deeper insight is provided using pedagogical constructivism, with focus on the evocation phase, part of the "E-U-R model". This phase helps to motivate pupils and to discover what conceptions children have of consumerism. For this reason, the theoretical part also provides a closer look at children's conceptions. Considering the fact that consumer way of life is influenced by personal moral values, a section of the theoretical part deals with moral development of a child, focusing on a crucial age of 9-10, when the conception of moral realism changes. The practical part of the diploma thesis suggests a lesson whose main part is a questionnaire, which serves as a tool to determine children's conceptions of consumerism. Beginning of a literary education lesson according to principles of the constructivist teaching

The diploma thesis deals with an issue of a teaching process initiation in a literary education. The aim of the thesis is to prove that applying a constructivist approach to the lesson structure arouses pupils' and students' interest, activity and motivation to learn and it also supports the learning process and critical thinking. The thesis verifies a positive effect in using of the E-U-R learning model based on studying scientific literature and author's pedagogical experience. More specifically, the thesis focuses on the first phase, evocation. It presents the criteria and methods of realization and it suggests the possible content of evocation. In the practical part, the author verifies these findings on six lessons. The reflections prove that effective evocation supports the learning process.

The motivation of preschool children for art and graphic activities during the free games

The Bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of preschool children to art and graphic activities; with what might motivate them to draw when playing games in the kindergarten. The theoretical part, which proceeds from the stated literature, is focused on the development of artistic expression and graphomotorics of preschool children. Attention is paid to the issue of motivation, but also to playing as a method of early childhood education and the role of a teacher in art-related games. The practical part of the thesis describes specific situations when children were motivated in creative ways. Reactions of individual children from a selected group on being motivated to focus on drawing are recorded and described. The practical part, therefore, includes suggestions on how to develop the drawing skills of preschool children.
